The College Readiness Workshop
Building Personal, Professional, and Academic Acumen
The College Readiness Workshop is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that prepares middle school, high school, home school, alternate school students, grades 7 through 12, and young adults up to age 24, for successful transition into college and career environments. Our collection of educators seek to build personal, professional, and academic acumen that facilitates student success.
Our workshops, seminars, activities, and experiential learning opportunities are designed to align students with key strategies, cognitive skills, and behavioral practices that help them transition into college and entry level careers.
We develop writing, research, and interview technique to sharpen the overall communication skills of our students. We also develop soft skills, financial literacy, career interest, and entrepreneurial skills.
Our expanded initiatives include providing scholarships, financial assistance for college campus visits and college application fees, sponsoring career and college fairs, and developing internship opportunities.
Our commitment is to elevate under-served and under-represented students and their communities with educational and career resources.
